Auditions
Coro de Cámara is an auditioned chamber chorus dedicated to presenting diverse choral programs of high caliber to audiences in Northern New Mexico. We present three concerts per year, with performances and rehearsals in both Los Alamos and Santa Fe. Occasional community outreach programs are also offered.
Auditions consist of singing a short song of the singer’s choice (preferably something easy for the pianist to sight-read), vocalizing to check range, and sight-reading. Once an audition has been scheduled, the Artistic Director will email the singer an audition form to complete and bring to the audition.
Experienced adult singers with excellent pitch, a good musical ear, and sight-reading skills are invited to audition. In addition, the Student Apprentice Program provides gifted high school musicians the opportunity to sing with the group. We are holding summer auditions starting in August.
